Terms of Service
Please read these terms before using 위노벨 WeNovel.
1. Service and eligibility
WeNovel is a collaborative-writing service where completed stories can be rented with points. Users must provide accurate account information and keep their accounts secure.
2. User responsibilities
Users must not impersonate others, misuse personal information, disrupt the service, post unlawful content, infringe copyright, fraudulently obtain points, manipulate activity through automation, or run unauthorized promotions.
3. Content and co-authorship
Users retain rights in the portions they write. By posting, they grant WeNovel a non-exclusive license as needed to operate, display, store, and provide rentals under these terms.
When a work is completed, the same work is placed in every contributor's library. Each contributor independently sets a one-day base rental price, and prices for 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, and 14 days are calculated automatically using the service's multipliers.
4. Points and rental distribution
Points are currently a free digital unit usable only inside WeNovel. They have no cash value and cannot be purchased, withdrawn, exchanged, or freely transferred between members. Points may be granted for registration and legitimate creative activity; points obtained through abuse may be reversed.
Rental points are first allocated as a 10% project-creation share to the member who opened the project. The remaining 90% is distributed to every contributor in proportion to their actual character count across the work, including the opening passage. The creation share applies even if the creator wrote no text, and the calculation is fixed from the completed manuscript record when the rental is made.
5. Content and account enforcement
Content that violates these terms or the content policy may be hidden or removed, and accounts may be temporarily or permanently restricted. We may act immediately on serious unlawful content or sexual content involving minors.
6. Preview service and changes
The points and rental features are currently in preview. Reward rules, pricing multipliers, or features may change to prevent abuse, comply with law, and maintain reliable operation; material changes will be announced in advance.
